One an early sunny Saturday morning the game settings were perfect for a good match even though some of the players hadn't quite fully woken up. Despite the early start, a few fans turned up to offer support and the Rovers were feeling good about the oncoming game. The opposition were for sure expecting an easy day out after the last ( not to be mentioned again ) score-line from the previous clash but they had to do lots more work this time round.
The game started off even, with the ball stuck in midfield for the first ten minutes with both teams struggling to do anything about it. Andrea made a couple of charges at their defence and tried to force a gap but their sturdy number 5 seems to always manage to get the final touch in and deflate the attack. Heather was doing lots of work trying to support the attacks and the defence were strong and stopping all counter-attacks. However, the Rovers were not having a great run of luck and where our attacks never quite made it all the way to the end, their attacks did. And in fairness, they were pretty clinical in their finishing, with some nice passing in our box and some nice one-two finishes. They got their first goal after 10 minutes and the first one was followed by another 3 which we were stuck to anything about. And if that wasn't annoying enough, their coach started a verbal rundown of every move of the match. He had to be one of the most irritating people this side of the Alps and I doubt he realises how close he came to getting a good kick in the ass from Mandy-Don't Fuck With Me-Schenk. He was as bad as the Haar-Das ist Fu?ball-Coach and believe me, that's bad.
Half time was a positive affair with not much to be said except keep up the good work and keep the pressure on. The 0:4 score line was not a fair indicator of the game as we were giving them a hard time and were unlucky not to get one or two goals in the dying minutes of the first half with Andrea hitting the post and Kate missing an opener, when she kinda forgot to kick the ball at the moment all players dream of getting ( open goal and nobody near you ). The 2nd half was more of the same, we put the pressure on, we hassled them, they scored goals. The number 5 definitely saved them at least 3 or 4 goals and in the end even managed to spin Andrea head over heels, which saw Andrea dragged to the side for medical treatment which included water and sympathy looks. End result was 0:7, but all in all we had nothing to be ashamed of and if we can keep playing strong and with lots of heart, a win will come before the end of the season.

Man of the Match, in my opinion, was Amanda who showed no fear.
Ref? of the Match, without a doubt: Ronnie.

Thanks to all the fans for the support.
