A very disappointing display against an ageing but technically sufficient C Klasse Team. With no first team game the second team could call on some of the clubs senior pros to help out but this proved to be of no benefit.

The Rovers took the lead when Clare stabbed home from Poulton's rebounded shot. An equaliser from a rocket shot then Sooty giving his winger acres of space allowed the Greeks to go into the break 2 - 1 ahead.

A poor start to the second half meant the Rovers fell further behind before an einschlu? treffer from Harrison who had replaced the ineffective Colditz at half time. At 3 - 2 the Rovers were briefly back in it but not for long as Sach was sold down the river from a quick Pas goal kick which was deflected into the net by Sobek. The fifth goal was a gift. Schneider, making his Rovers debut, played his forward in after the gentlest of headers back to the keeper only found its way into the strikers path who volleyed home from the edge of the box.
