Rovers went top of the table for a few hours with an ultimately convincing victory versus the Wacky youngsters.
Early doors (9am ko) it was all one way traffic with Wacker having all the chances and all the play.
Rovers went ahead against the run of play with Gould firing home from 40 yards after a misplaced clearance fell nicely to his yellow boots.
A fine finish from the angle ensued with Gavin Carey doubling the advantage.
Gould found a third as the visitors visibly wilted in the heat.
 Half Time team talk
Second half was plain sailing as the Rovers grew in confidence despite young Alex picking up a hammy injury.
Fine goals from Carey, McPhail, De Marco and a pen from Waine sealed the deal 7-0.
Rovers can seal promotion with victory away to Vartospor 1245 ko Sunday.
