Rovers lost 4-2 but the score line doesn't do us justice.? We were the better team by far in the first half, hitting the woodwork several times.? They had two efforts on target in the first half and scored twice.

The first half of the second half we not in the game, might be contributed to the fact that we stayed out in the rain (getting colder by the minute) as the ref said it was only a five minute break whereas the other team went into the dressing room with the ref having to whistle several times for them to come back out.? Again in the first 15 minutes or so they had two efforts on goal and they scored twice.

However after a few subs the Rovers got back into the game, scoring twice and hitting the woodwork again in the last 15.? Great battle from us, never gave up though going down 4-0.? The other team while tough and physical were not nasty and seemed like a good bunch of lads.? The return game should be interesting.
