Player's pass

Joining a club is easy, however getting a "player's pass" isn't always so simple. One of the following scenarios may apply. Talk to the Director of Football if you need clarification regarding your status.

Scenario 1

You have never been registered with a soccer club in Ireland (or other country). No problem, you just sign a form stating this.

Scenario 2

You are presently playing football with a club back home but are planning to move to Munich in the near future.

Obtain an official letter from your club releasing you to play for the Munich Irish Rovers. The letter should be dated, signed and if possible have the club stamp. The date of the last match should also be included.

Scenario 3

You used to play with a club back home but it was years ago.

In the eyes of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) you are still registered with that club so scenario 2 may apply.

Scenario 4

You are already registered with a club here in Germany.

Ask your present club for your player's pass. This should be stamped, signed and have the date of your last match for that club.
